If you're further out - Walls at 11 miles, Byhalia at 17, or Coldwater at 18 - we still run calls that way, but drive time factors into scheduling on a busy day.
When you call, have the basics ready: what the door is doing (or not doing), whether it's a single or double, and roughly how old the house is. A lot of Southaven homes went up between 1980 and 2001, and knowing that range helps us guess at hardware before we even load the truck.

What we don't do is guess over the phone and quote a fixed price sight unseen - springs, drums, and openers vary enough house to house that we look at it first. If a door is more patch than parts at that point, we'll say so instead of stacking repairs on something that should be replaced.
